Important Service Information

• Mail-In Service: You must ship your own PS3 Slim console to EntemptModz. No console is included with this purchase.

• Working Consoles Only: Your PS3 must power on, boot normally, and remain operational before being shipped.

• No Delidding: This service replaces thermal paste on the external CPU and GPU heat spreaders. Removal of the processor heat spreaders and replacement of thermal material underneath are not included.

• Maintenance Only: This is a preventative maintenance service, not a repair for existing hardware failures.

• No Guaranteed Temperature Reduction: Cooling results and fan noise improvements vary depending on the console's condition and underlying hardware.

Damaged Consoles & YLOD Policy

We do not service consoles that arrive nonfunctional, physically damaged, or exhibiting Yellow Light of Death (YLOD), Red Light of Death (RLOD), or other critical hardware failures under this listing.

All consoles are subject to an initial inspection and functionality check before service begins.

If your console arrives with any of the following conditions, service may be declined:

• YLOD, RLOD, or failure to power on

• No video output or inability to boot normally

• Significant physical damage or signs of liquid exposure

• Damaged motherboard or evidence of severe overheating

• Missing internal components or unsafe previous modifications

• Any other issue that prevents safe disassembly, testing, or servicing

If your console fails inspection, we will contact you before proceeding. The maintenance service will not be performed unless an alternative service is separately approved.

Any applicable inspection fees, refunds, or return shipping charges will be communicated in accordance with our posted service policies.

 

Shipping Instructions

• Ship only the PS3 Slim console, unless accessories are specifically requested.

• Remove any discs from the console before shipping.

• Back up saved data before sending your system.

• Package your console securely with adequate cushioning in a sturdy shipping box.

• Use a shipping method with tracking and appropriate insurance.

Do not ship a console with known YLOD, power failure, or significant physical damage without contacting us first.
